Battle Of The Bands, Finals, August 17-19, 1967
29 groups competed and a souvenir 3-LP-set was released on Onyx. 4000 people were in attendance the night the Gents were proclaimed winners of the battle. The group received "a bus-type automobile, wardrobes, color cameras and an undisclosed amount of cash". Other groups in the Top 10 were the Sheffields, Disciples, Soul Benders, Pur'Swa'Ders, Flares, Missing Links / Missing Lynx and Bishops Four.
